Well my famous WizzNetwork - yeah right, famous… was hacked and spammed as the title tells you. Recently WizzNetwork had been getting a lot of attention, not from humans, but from spam bots. They would keep making accounts and blogs linking to their website!

I implemented three different spam bot checks, one was a questions, are you a robot? That failed, the second was an image verification, that failed aswell. The third one is in testing just now but still I think the bots are going to try and crack it!

The hacked part was a shock to me, a huge shock! I am going to blame this on the second spam protector I used, it must have opened a back door into the admin panel and all blogs were deleted apart from Brian’s Life, I don’t really understand why they left that?

Sadly the platform I am using is not advance enough to trace IP addresses so I am clueless to who did it. I have deleted the second spam bot protector and re-uploaded various system files, and also changed my password, so it will not happen again!
