Alright, I rarely buy software, I use freeware and free trials, because I’m a cheap bas*ard. But this thing is just amazing. I’m doing its review in parts, because I’ve not yet used all of its features, but I dont have much free time nowadays, so it could be months before I get to.

This part will focus on the ripping/burning capibilities. Its got a lot more options than WMP, with many rip formats available. It can rip your music into MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC & WAV. And all of them have fully changeable settings(Bitrate & all that). Naturally, you can choose where your files are stored and sorted with ease. Like any decent ripper, it imports your music details, but still leaves them open for editing. One thing that stood out was, (I’m not sure as I dont have a Blu-Ray drive) but I’ve heard its Blu-Ray burner is very good too. It comes with a Normal and and Advanced preset, for people who are and arent experts. But either way, its interface is just amazingly easy to navagate and works beautifully. Hey Guys,I love purchasing music from iTunes, don’t ask me why, the process just seems effortless, you get the album art and everything ready for your ipod, this takes seconds! One thing I donut like is that you can only register the music to 5 computers, I have an iMac, Custom PC and a laptop, so thats 3 already gone - what happens when I get another computer? I use DoubleTwist!
The program is simple, freeware! DoubleTwist allows to convert your purchased iTunes Protected songs into non-protected MP3 to play on your mobile phone or MP3 Player, this is a great idea and a great program! DoubleTwist offers more, but thats the main idea behind it!
Thanks,

P.S. its only available for Windows, but the programmers are looking for Mac Programmers!

Hey Guys,
This has been a popular question, I get a lot of emails a day with different questions from the general public, and one huge one is ‘What is the best anti virus freeware?’. Well, I’m not going to answer ‘What is the best…’ as there are so many different kinds, that I couldn’t choose from them all.
Many people know that I use an iMac G5, also a Acer Aspire laptop from when I’m not at home. My laptop has Windows, and everyone knows that Windows needs virus protection, un-like Mac OSX! I have been through a few different applications, and the one I am on right now is Avast. This is by far the best I have used.
Avast has been recommended by a lot of different websites, the way I found out about it was from my Dad who read it in the Technology side of a news paper! The thing I like about this is that it works seamlessly, it runs as if its not there. It has Real Time protection, which means its constantly monitoring the traffic from your computer, including: Downloads, uploads, software updates and many more things! You can configure this how you please!
Another nice thing I like about Avast is that it has an amazing updating system, it checks for updates hourly (again you can configure this.) When it downloads updates, it will notify you with a voice that says ‘Virus Database has been updated’ !
I will be posting some screenshots of the interface later on, as I don’t have my laptop handy for a while. The GUI is similar to some skins found for winamp, very futuristic and clean.
Thats the answer many people will be waiting for,
Thanks,
WizzKid
P.S. I do try and answer all the emails I receive, but I work weekends, and college during the week =).

Hey Guys,
I came accross The Free Mac Classroom, which has a very nice design. Simple. Clean.
This is just one webpage with a lot of freeware for Mac OSX, as I own a iMac G5 I have found some very useful programs from this website, and will certainly be bookmarked by me.
This is not all for Mac Users, as it does have some nice websites on it.
Take a look
