The Google Mail (gmail) design has gotten a bit old, and if you are like me then you will love this! There are loads of different GreaseMonkey scripts that will modify what Gmail looks like, but this goes to the next level, if you do not know what Grease Monkey is, please Click Here.

The script is called Better Gmail 2.0.4; https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6076, as you can see from the images below it really does change what Gmail looks like and gives it a desktop application feel to it. The plugin does not do anything to the performance, just changes the styling of Gmail.

There is a number of different things you an do with Better Gmail 2.0.4, there are a number of different skins you can choose, different options that range from Macros to Sidebar options! This is a stand-alone plugin, so you wont need anything like Greasemonkey to run it.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a change and is fed up with the original Gmail skin…

Hey Guys,

Yes, this is another post about Google and how great they are!

I use Gmail as my main email as I have told you in other posts. It offers so much more than other free email suppliers do. I have had my gmail account since the beginning. One of my friends got 100 invites, and he invited me to ‘Beta Test’ and get a feel for the Gmail Experience! Earlier today I noticed that the amount of messages you can now store on your gmail account. When I start it used to be 2GB - which was more than enough!

Now it is:

I have a ridiculous amount of emails, must be well over 5000 and I have only used 2% of the amount I am allowed. The Gmail inbox size is constantly growing, the above screenshot was taken about 4 hours ago, and now the size has gone up 3MB. That is another reason why gmail is the best webmail client!
