Hey Guys,

Short and sweet post - some guy on ebay has put his broken iPhone 3G up for auction. Hes says he has had it for one week, the reason its smashed up is because he dropped it, where did he drop it from? Also in the description he says its unlocked…interesting.

Woops I forgot to mention, current bid is $400!

Hey Guys,

Recently I blogged about an application on the Apple AppStore that cost £599.99 or $999.99. Well some guy has actually purchased the application. Him and his friends were joking around and clicked Buy Now, it went through his visa card and hes expecting to get his money back:

Hey Guys,

The last few months have been good and bad from Apples point of view. But let me rant about their great app store. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing applications out there, but most of the time Apple are taking the piss.

If you submit an application to apple, apple review it to see if it is suitable for the AppStore and they either post it on the store or reject it, well there are a lot of silly applications, but this below is just taking it a step further:

As you can see the application is pointless and worth £599.99 - $999.99. I want to know if someone has actually purchased it, that would be so freaking funny if they had! What do you think of the application? Most people (including developers) are pissed off, I think its funny despite what I have said above.

Thanks,

Hey Guys,

Well last night around 01:00am GMT the software update 2.0.1 for the iPhone and iPod Touch was released via iTunes. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, plug your device into iTunes and it should automatically tell you there is an update. The update is 248MB and took me around 1.5hours to download.

Heres the improvements i’ve noticed:

  • Speed - Applications open smoother and faster, plus the start-up time of the device is noticeably faster which is a good thing. Updating applications over wi-fi from the device is still slow, but that cant be helped.
  • Contacts.app loads a lot faster. I don’t know if it was just me but most of my contacts have phone numbers/email addresses and images, whenever I went to open the contacts.app it would take along time. Well this has improved a lot.
  • Slow Keyboard Bug - Not sure if this is fixed before you ask. I haven’t come across this bug yet but we shall give it time.

Go download it.

Hey Guys,

Well I have had my iPhone for a while now and have been having some awesome fun with these two games I am about to show you. These games below are completely free and are available on the AppStore via iTunes or on your device.

Tap Tap Revenge
This game is such a good time waster, its pretty similar to Guitar Hero in the way the game works. You press the little dots as they come up to the line. There are a whole load of different songs to choose from and the developers are going to be releasing more. Heres a video review:

Just search for the app on iTunes.

Labyrinth Lite

This game is also loads of fun and you might know what it is just by the name. Its really similar to the board game but on the iPod Touch or iPhone. The Lite version has 20 levels to complete, and the full paid version is not released yet. The game is simple, you tilt the device until you get it to the goal hole, heres a video preview:
