Hey people, it’s another tiny but affordable laptop! The HP 2133 Mini-Note PC is ultra cheep and ultra mobile. Just like the Eee PC, it is cheep and small! The laptop it self has a scratch resistant screen and a spill proof keyboard, it runs on xp or linux, altough the linux version is cheaper.
The price is said to be about $600, that means roughly £300 and for the linux version it is about £250… There are some awesome features, like the attractive look, webcam, multiple USB ports and 9″ screen. It is better than the Eee PC and at the same price!
All in all, I think this is a very nice laptop that has a lot going for it… It is likely to be as or more popular than the Eee PC…

Hey, today I was in need of a free word processor program wasn’t impressed with (open office) so found this.
AbiWord is a free simple word processing program, it can be used on widows or Linux. To install it you need to either, use your Ubuntu CD (post found here) while windows is running or download Ubuntu 7.10 (HERE) and use (poweiso) to burn it, I was unable to find a stand alone download for this file. I may upload it at a later time!
EDIT: I have uploaded the file! The following link is not located on the WizzHack server so WizzHack can not be blamed for any problems that may arise!

Well, Google have actual created a Linux search engine, obviously powered by the Google technology.

Linux is getting more and more popular, more people are downloading it and moving over to linux from Windows etc…Linux has so much more to offer than current operating systems you have to pay for, and linux is free. I have used linux a lot, but only has a spare-time operating system, I never actually fully moved over to it, as I prefer Windows/Mac combo!
I found a great Linux website that will tell you the equilant programs, so if there is a program you like for Windows, there might just be one out for Linux that is free and maybe even open source. The Linux Alternative Project has a huge directory of programs that were made for Windows, but a group of coders have created a similar program for Linux.
Thanks,
WizzKid
