Hey Guys

I don’t know whether twitter was playing a trick on me, but I got this really really strange bug when I visit twitter.com (P.S. I have tried refreshing/closing firefox but nothing worked). Do you get this problem, or is it just me?

Any thoughts?

Heres the video:

Hey Guys,

Once again I am lucky to have found a friend who had 10 invites for an application/service called Dropbox. Have you heard of it? I didn’t have a clue what it was until I went to their homepage and watched the demo video that explained everything:

This is an amazing service. When you get a beta code, you download the program and make an account. You get 2GB worth of space just to play around with - which is enough for me. This works with Windows XP/Vista and Mac. I have installed it on my Vista machine, my mac and my laptop which is running Windows XP.

So I have 8 invites left. Want one? Leave a comment.

Thanks,

WizzKid

Hey Guys,

Long time no post…well I am back from a busy week!

A lot of people host images on a website called Photobucket. A lot of myspace profiles are covered in photobucket hosted images. How do I know? Well below is a picture of 10000words.net. The author of the website used photobucket to host all his images, now all you will see is this:

Bandwidth has exceeded for the images he was hosting. So heres the tip:

Use your own hosting. It will be a lot cheaper and you will never see the image above. All images I use on WizzHack are hosted by wizzhack, most of them or on a separate sub-domain (my.wizzhack.co.uk - thats where all the media is kept).

Thanks,

WizzKid

Hey guys, it was actually while watching a cnet podcast I found out about Bubble CommentBubble Comment allows you to send personalized links with a small recorded video in the corner of the page, so you can say a bit about the page you linked to. So head over there and try it out! It doesn’t need any form of software, just a microphone and a webcam. Here is one I did for an example, unfortunately my camera isn’t the best, and its quite dark here at the mo, but you get the point.

My Bubble Comment.

The only downfall of this that I have found so far is that the bubble takes for ever to come up, I don’t know if it’s just me getting this problem, but it’s a nice idea anyhow…

Thanks for reading,

Brian

Hey Guys,

Last night I posted a notice on twitter asking for any good podcasts and I had a few suggestions, I tried most of them but TekZilla really caught my eye. TekZilla is a video podcast that has daily tips (1 - 2 minutes long) and a full blown episode weekly (30 - 40 minutes long).

I have watched most of the episodes and stuck most of them on my new iPhone 3G. They have two different kinds, High Quality and Low Quality. My internet isn’t that great so I chose the Low Quality and its great, each episode is about 100 - 150MB and the daily tips are even smaller (5 - 20MB).

So if you are looking for a good podcast, then I recommend TekZilla, you can also stream the episodes online from your browser, their homepage is: http://revision3.com/tekzilla/, check it out every Saturday (use to be Friday) for the full episode or check daily for the daily tips.

Thanks,
