Hey Guys,

Most/If not everybody has heard of Halo, y’know that FPS that arguably made the original xbox? Well from Ensemble Studios they bring us Halo Wars. This is going to be a Sci-Fi RTS (Real Time Strategy) for the Xbox 360 and probably PC.

Halo Wars is going to include enemies and vehicles found from the previous halo games, as well as new units. This game is set in 2531. I must say it looks pretty good, its just a shame that I aint into RTS games…

Release Date: Spring 2009

Hey Guys,

Well, this fall there will be a major update released into the Xbox 360 Live world. The update will completely re-vamp the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Now I have a Xbox 360 and I really like the dashboard currently, I’m not sure if I am going to like the update….

The main thing is Avatars - you create your-self on your xbox, pretty similar to when you create a Sim in any Sims game. The avatars are going to be used in games and online. Heres some images and a demo from E3:

Hey Guys,

Just a really quick post about Call of Duty 5, here are some details:

• It will feature a split screen cooperative game on a single console and online co-op for up to four players!

• It will take place in World War 2 and we will be killing the Nazis.

• Game will be based on the Modern Warfare engine that was used in COD 4.

• The game will feature a lot of violence and gore and blood. It is being said that the opening scene shows the torture of a girl brutally.

• It will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PS2 and Nintendo DS!

My thoughts about this are pretty mixed, I would have preferred it to keep going with the Modern Warfare and not go back to WW2. Its sounding pretty good though, I am excited about the Nintendo DS version, COD4 for the DS didn’t have any online play, hopefully COD5 will have some!

Hey Guys,

Has everyone heard of Gears of War? Well its an xbox 360 exclusive, sadly I have never played Gears so I dont really know what its like, apart from watching videos! It was a massive succcess and an extremely popular game, well now its time for Gears of War 2.

Its scheduled to be released in November 2008, the game will come with a highly improved Unreal Engine with a lot more graphical enhancements! Also a limited edition of the game has been confirmed, which will include:

• Poster
• Concept Art
• 5 Graphic Novels explaining the time period between the first Gears and the 2nd
• Making of DVD
• Stainless steel dog tags.

I will definitely be getting this game when its released, for now heres a preview:

Hey Guys,

When I first bought my xbox 360 (only a few weeks ago) I really wanted to connect it to my 24″ Monitor that my computer uses. I was on the look out for a cable that went from the Xbox 360 to my Monitor (VGA). I found the Xbox Official one from Amazon.

The cable worked great but I had no audio coming from my speakers as the VGA Cable only supported those Red and White connectors (below). Also another problem I had was switching between Xbox 360 and my PC, this was really akward having to switch cables every time.

I went on the look out for a cheap VGA Switcher and found one designed for Xbox 360 and PC Monitors. I found one on ebay at £10.00 which is a bargain! This worked great and with a flick of a switch I can see my PC and straight back to the 360. I can also plug in the Red and White wires and it then plays the xbox 360 music from my speakers.

This is a lot cheaper method than purchasing a TV.
