Hey Guys,

Most people know that I have an iMac G5, its getting old now, and its not even intel core duo! My laptop is faster than my iMac. For Christmas I am going to be getting a ‘future’ proof’ computer, meaning that its going to be so powerful now, it will last and always have room to upgrade. There was talk about me purchasing an Mac Pro but thats way to expensive, as its apple. I have also loved apple, but its time to move completely to Windows. I will still have my iMac (if I dont sell it) on my desk, for my iPod Touch and other media, but my primary machine will be what I am about to describe:

The computer I am going to be getting (I am paying most of it) is:

  • 2 x 500 GB SATA HDD UDMA 300 7200 16MB1 x
  • Coolermaster Cosmos1 x
  • ACER LCD MONITOR 24″ WIDE AL2416WB SIL/BLK1 x

  • HIPER POWER 730W LOW NOISE/QUAD SLI READY1 x
  • ASUS Wireless LAN 125Mbps PCI1 x
  • 4 Port Firewire IEEE 1394 PCI Card + FREE CABLE1 x
  • 10 X USB 2.0 PORTS1 x
  • SAMSUNG DVD /-RW 20×6x20×8 D/LAYER BLACK LIGHTSCRIBE (SATA)

Website I used to build my own PC; ComputerPlanet

I know it seems a lot, but remember….future proof!

What do you think? Too much or more?

Thanks,
